How do you become a member of Makutano?

What is the difference between the September Forum and the Foundation?

The Foundation is a business club and a “Think and Do tank” which works all year round. The forum is the large annual gathering of economic actors from the DRC and Africa.

Is the Forum open to everyone, and under what conditions?

The Forum is open in priority to CEOs of the private sector and to managers at all levels (institutional etc.) and to the payment of a participation fee.

Is the Makutano reserved for the Congolese?

No. The Foundation and the Forum are open to all those who have the desire to advance the economy of the DRC and Africa.

Is the network politically engaged?

No. The Makutano network is apolitical and secular.

Can we join Makutano without being a member?

Of course ! The Makutano is open to everyone. This is what we call the “Makutano Community”. It allows you to participate in certain monthly conferences (excluding the annual forum and meetings reserved for members), to receive the newsletter and to be informed in priority. Many students, young business creators, civil society actors, have already joined. Being part of the community is free.

What if you cancel your participation in the forum?

Cancellation by the participant will not proceed to any refund, whatever the cause of the cancellation. An prevented participant may be represented by a replacement at an equivalent hierarchical level, subject to the express agreement of the organizer, who must be informed as soon as possible. No request will be accepted if it occurs less than 14 days before the start of the forum.

Travel and stay?

Participants pay for their travel and their stay except for those who have taken the package with overnight stays.
